On Sunday 5th September, the first day of the Nuneaton RFC Mini & Junior 2021/22 playing season, we held our Mini and Junior Section Annual General Meeting. This was two seasons worth of AGM’s, as we were unable to hold the 2019/20 AGM due to CV-19 restrictions.

The AGM was well attended and offered parents, coaches, team managers and officials the chance to reflect on the past couple of seasons. The AGM is also the time to elect the Mini and Junior Officials and Committee as well as age group head coaches and team managers.

Each role carries a term of one year and each role holder automatically relinquishes that role at the end of term, although they are eligible to stand again each year should they wish.

Several key people stepped down, either during the last season or at the AGM. We offer our thanks for the service and countless hours of commitment and dedication they all gave to the Mini and Junior section.

No one goes too far however, with Jason continuing as the U13’s Head Coach as well as coaching the Colts, Mike continues as Coach and Team Manager for the U11’s, Michelle is active on the touchline with two M&J Players in different age groups and Graham is Club Treasurer and a Colts player parent.
Reports were heard from all current Officers and age group representatives.

A new quorum of Officers, Committee members, Head Coaches and Team Managers were then duly nominated, seconded and elected unanimously. We again offer our thanks these willing volunteers, who put themselves forward for to fulfil the vital job of running the section and age groups.
