A sunny but windy day down on Liberty way for this lunchtime kick off.
From the kick off, Nuns were in the oppositions faces, aggresive in the forwards, pushing them back into Tamworths 22.
Tamworth tried to play out of their own 22, but Nuns kept them pinned back with good line speed and pressured them into mistakes.
The first to go over was Twells into the right corner with superb power and aggression.
Converted by captain Sumner.
Nuns kept the pressure up and once again Tamworth capitulated and Court ripped the ball away from a Tamworth player and touched down right on their line. Sumner converting again to make it 14-0 going into half time.
Into the second half, and Nuns picked up where they left off.
Mitchell putting in the big tackles, scrumhalf Watson making some sniping runs off the rucks and mauls.
The lineout was working well with Mitchell and Spence mixing it up at No2 jumper to good effect.
Healey scored a great try making it 19-0 with Sumner missing the conversion.
The pack again dominated Tamworth earning a scrum in their 22.
A great scrum by the front five, enabled Parsons to pick the ball up and charge over for try No4.
With the wind against him, it looked unlikely but Sumner sent the ball through the sticks for 2 more points.
After two defeats in a row, Nuns needed a win, and they got it along with a shut out.
From 1 to 15 and the subs bench every player gave their all.
A win to carry the Nuneaton Colts forward into the next game.
COME ON YOU NUNS
