The Nuns couldn't follow up last weekends victory over Bournville as they lost out to Bridgnorth. The team showed no changes in the pack but two changes in the backline with Richard Johnston and Tyler Price coming in for Harry Garforth and Ollie Kitto who were unavailable.

Bridgnorth kicked off and the Nuns started to go through some phases. When they worked into a position to kick long 'North sent the ball back down twice and then try ing to play in their half again the Nuns gave away a penalty at the break down which Centre Williams converted for the first points of the game, 3-0 Bridgnorth.

The Nuns then started to play further down the field and soon had the home side under pressure, to which a penalty was conceded and Tyler Price converted the first of four kicks in the game to draw the scores level, 3-3 after 7 minutes.

The game was then played mainly between the two 22ms with space a premium on the narrow pitch. Nuns kicked a little better and followed up with some barn-storming runs from number 8 Apo Satala. After the home team conceded a couple of penalties territory was gained and from a line-out catch and drive, hooker Callum Grant-Smith came from the pile with his second try in two weeks. Tyler Price converted to give the Nuns a 10-3 lead after 24 minutes.

As the half went on, again possession and territory was shared but the hosts managed to cross from a sustained period of pressure which was converted to draw the scores level. 10-10 on 36 minutes which would remain the score until half time.

The Nuns were forced into a change at half time with Timothy Douglas being replaced by Huw Thomas. The half then started in the best possible fashion for the visitors as the ball was recycled outside of the 'North 22m. It went wide to Satala who sucked in two defenders an offloaded to Thomas who in turn slipped the ball to Tyler Price who finished in the corner from 15m out. This was followed up with an excellent conversion to put the Nuns 17-10 head on 42 minutes.

The game then started to turn to the hosts as they put the Nuns under pressure and forced mistakes and penalties. In a 10 minute spell two tries were scored and a penalty kicked to put the host back in the lead 23-17 after 60 minutes.

A respite for the Nuns came about and they managed to put some passages of play together which resulted in another penalty for Price to bring the score to 23-20 on 66 minutes.

However 2 more penalties on 70 and 76 minutes pushed the hosts further away. The score was compounded when with the Nuns pushing for a score to get a losing bonus point the ball was spilled and Bridgnorth raced from half way to clinch their own try bonus point with the last play of the game.
