The Nuns are still searching for a first win of the season after another defeat to Dudley Kingswinford last weekend, 44-5. Two late changes to the backline disrupted preparations slightly but it was some chances left not taken in the first half that came back to hurt the Nuns. Having worked to get themselves into good positions the final pass or execution was just lacking. The Nuns loss saw them move to the bottom of the league with 2 points from 5 games, Lichfield have 2 wins and 13 points from their five games and last week they were defeated 47-54 at home to Newport.

The Saxons picked up their first bonus point in a 71-29 defeat to Pinley last weekend. They welcome Handsworth this weekend for a first meeting.

The Colts have a friendly with Old Northamptonians away. The side were keen to get back in to action after their 24 all draw with Leicester Lions a week last Sunday. Unfortunately, due to being the home side they exited the Cup after the tied score.

The Saracens game with Barkers Butts has been postponed due to a lengthening injury list.

Team news: Harvey Matkin, Jack Iles and Toby Dearden are all unavailable from last week’s squad. Tyler Freeman, Ryan Marsh and come in.
