The Nuns start a run of four games in October tomorrow as they host Newent for a first ever league fixture. After a week’s break, the squad will be looking to kick start their campaign against a side that has two tight home wins and a heavy defeat to their name so far this season. Last time out they were victorious 33-29 over Newport. The Nuns were defeated at Bromsgrove, 48-17, in a game that too many errors with and without the ball proved costly. The squad no where they need to improve on and, as always, have been working hard to get things right this weekend.

The Saxons are back in action after two weeks off with a derby fixture at home to Broadstreet on Pitch 1. They will be looking to get their first league points of the season in this fixture.

The Colts are in action Sunday afternoon at home against Leicester Lions. They lost 24-12 away to Kenilworth last Friday night.

The Saracens have a week off but got their first win of the season last week with a high scoring 63-40 win over Pinley.

Team news: Jack Iles comes in for Harvey Matkin (injured) at prop and Benji Mitchell has recovered from an opening weekend injury to start in the back row.

The only change in the backline sees Elliott Brown bring his experience in the centres in place of Theo Knight.
