The Nuns travel to Bromsgrove tomorrow for another stern test on the road in Regional 1. Despite an improved performance last week that yielded 2 bonus points, it still wasn’t enough for a win as the Nuns went down 31-34 to Drybrook. Bromsgrove went down 22-17 on the road at Newport but were victorious in their first game. The Nuns have 2 league points and Bromsgrove have 6.

The Saxons don’t have a game for the next two weeks. Last weekend they lost 55-0 to Old Wheats, it was another game that went away from them second half but they know they have to improve in all areas to get themselves up and running. Hard work will be put together over the next few weeks to get this right.

The Colts and Saracens are both at home this weekend, 3pm kick offs. The Colts host Broadstreet and Southam 2s are the visitors for the Saracens.

Team news: Two changes in the pack with Ryan Iles starting in the back row for his brother who is away and Sam Wallis starting in place of Ben Haywood who picked up a knee injury last week.

Also, two changes in the backline with Mike Volaikisuva coming in for Andy Murray at scrum half and Darcey Bunce makes his debut at full back in place of Harry Pipe.

Rhys Astin and another debutant Turner Jones come on to the bench alongside Tyler Freeman.
