It’s the last weekend of league rugby tomorrow with the Nuns on the road to 3rd placed Bromsgrove looking to get back at them after an opening day defeat back in September. A lot has happened since then and the Nuns can be proud of their efforts to date. They come into the game on the back of two wins, 45-28 over Long Eaton in the league and then 38-36 last Friday over Shipston-On-Stour in the Warwickshire Cup semi final. Bromsgrove were victorious last weekend 34-10 over Silhillians. They have 74 points from 14 wins and 18 points this season. The Nuns last league win saw them move up to 6th in the league with 10 wins and 20 bonus points to sit on 60 points. When the sides met on the opening day it was a 44-25 win for Bromsgrove.
The Saxons have their last game of the season and will host local rivals Bedworth. They will be looking to back up an excellent 36-7 win over Pinley last week. On the opening day of the season the sides fought out a 21 all draw. The Saxons moved up to 7th in the league after last week’s win with 7 wins, a draw and 8 bonus points to have 38 league points. Bedworth sit in 5th with 9 wins, a draw and 11 bonus points and 51 league points.
The Saracens have rearranged last week’s postponed game with Old Coventrians to tonight under the lights away.
The Colts league game at Harbury has been postponed. Last week they secured a place in the Warwickshire Cup Final with a 21-12 win over Old Coventrians.
Team news: from the last league game, Louis Addleton comes back in at hooker with Zeb Gibson moving to the flank in place of Martin Wood who is injured. James Moreton is also unavailable so Ben Haywood returns to the second row. Gibson is partnered by Rudi Reid and Benji Mitchell in the back row.
Tobias Trafford returns at scrum half with Ryan Preston starting in the centre and Ben Kirby at full back.
Ryan Marsh, Arron Skyrme and Joe Wilson make up the bench.
