It’s a return to Liberty Way for the Nuns this weekend as they host Kettering RFC and will be looking to put the disappointment of last weekend’s last kick defeat to Peterborough behind them. Both sides come into the game on the back of a defeat with Kettering going down 26-7 at home to Northampton Old Scouts last week. The two sides last met in the 2019-20 season with the wins going to the away sides on both occasions.

The Nuns remain in 4th position in the league on 29 points, 10 points behind new leaders Old Scouts who remain the only undefeated team after Lutterworth lost to Market Harborough last weekend. Kettering sit in 6th on 20 points from 4 wins and 4 bonus points.

Last weekend’s defeat was painful for the squad having got themselves in a winning position at the end and also scoring 3 tries to 1. This week they have focused on the positives from the game and will be looking to get ‘Back on the Saddle’.

The Saxons lost out in a high scoring game to Lichfield with a final score of 33-26. With a host of injuries and unavailability’s they have postponed this week’s away game to Dudley Kingswinford.

The Colts return to league action with a 12pm kick off against Kenilworth at home.
