The Nuns are again on the road this week making a journey to take on Towcestrians. They will be looking for a finishing touch having missed out with a last kick off the game miss defeat to Northampton Old Scouts last weekend, 28-27. It was a performance that had plenty of positives. The side dominated the set piece and had plenty of possession and whilst creating chances just couldn’t quite execute to put them away. The players have worked hard again in training to try and address that this week and get back into winning form. Currently 7th in the table with 8 points compared to Towcestrians who are 10th with just a bonus point so far this season.

The Saxons went down 30-26 to Dudley Ks 2s. It was another spirited performance with 14 men and this week they have another home game with a friendly against Market Harborough 2s.

The Saracens made the first appearance of the season last week but went down 28-10 to Barker’s Butts Tanners.

The Colts have a friendly away at Lutterworth.

Team news: Fin Aherne comes up from the bench to start at prop with Ben Dawes at the Amateur World Cup in France. George Wallis also comes back on to the back row with Todd Bullions moving to the flank.

Max Carter gets his first start of the season at fly half with Lucas Brindley moving to full back.
