A trip to Northampton awaits the Nuns this week as they visit Northampton Old Scouts, who currently sit top of the league on point’s difference after two big bonus point wins. The Nuns will be looking for more of their first performance of the season after the disappointment of last weekend’s result, having gotten into an arm wrestle up front and not carried on their first half form against Newbold. Positives to take from the game though, where the ability and threat of the side when linking up and moving the ball around to score 4 tries to secure two bonus point tries in two games.

After a couple of late withdrawals, the Saxons had to postpone their fixture as 12 players in the searing heat wasn’t enough. This weekend they host Dudley Kingswinford 2s.

The Saracens are in action for the first time this season and travel to Barkers Butts to take on their Tanners. They will be looking to play once a month throughout the season. If this appeals to you speak, to Gregg Freeman.

The Colts have a league fixture with Daventry. They started their league campaign last week and lost out to a strong Old Laurent’s, 28-10.

Team news: new signing Ben Dawes comes straight into the front row alongside Redman and Dearden. The only other change in the back sees Augy Clarke come into the back row for the unavailable George Wallis.
Tom Smitham comes back into the backline at scrum half and Elliott Brown starts on the wing in place of Marcus Holt and Tom Sumner respectively. The rest of the backline remains the same.
