The Nuns charged into the Warwickshire Cup Final with a century of points against Regional 2 Midlands North side Sutton Coldfield, winning 105-7. In a game where the Nuns were dominant in all aspects, they accumulated 17 tries and 10 conversions conceding just the one try.
Travis Bennett-Allcock got the ball rolling in the 3rd minute with the first of his five tries and it was a continual stream of points throughout the half. The only blot of the half for the Nuns was a converted try for the hosts in the 26th minute.
First half scorers were; Bennett-Allcock with 4 and then singles for Martin Wood, Ben Kirby, Harry Beverley and Joe Wilson who also added 6 conversions.
Despite using all 12 interchanges from half time and through the second period, there was no let up from the Nuns who added a further 9 tries through Beverley, two more for Wood, James Lloyd, a Harry Healy brace, Bennett-Allcock’s fifth, Wilson's second and a final try from Ryan Preston. Wilson added a further three conversions plus one from Lucas Brindley. The only blot this half was an early yellow card for James Redman.
And so the Nuns move on to the Cup Final on Sunday 28th with a 3pm kick off against Broadstreet against Broadstreet. They have had walk over’s against Newbold on Avon and Old Silhillians to make the final.
