Nuns make first trip to Leicester Forest RFC

Nuns make first trip to Leicester Forest RFC

Huw Thomas17 Nov 2023 - 17:42

Nuns away and both the Saxons and Colts play at home against Manor Park and Rugby St Andrews respectively

The Nuns make their first ever league trip to Leicester Forest tomorrow afternoon and will be looking to pick up where they left off last weekend. The side bounced back in style after the previous loss with a strong performance in defeating Kettering 47-16 which kept them in 4th position in the league with 6 wins and 3 losses. Leicester Forest come into the game on the back of a 33-14 loss to league leaders Northampton Old Scouts but sit 5th in the league with 5 wins and 4 losses on 24 points, 10 behind the Nuns. 3 of these wins have come at home though and this will be the first time of playing on an AGP Pitch this season for the Nuns.

There are some big games in the league with the top two facing off at Lutterworth and the bottom two meeting at Towcestrians.

The Saxons have a home friendly against Manor Park 2s.

The Colts return to league action with home game against Rugby St Andrews, last week they were awarded a home win after Kenilworth conceded.

Team news: one change in the pack with Adie Hall moving into the second row with Nick Walton unavailable and James Lloyd starts in the back row.

The backline is the same one that started last weekend.

Augy Clarke and Tom Smitham come on to the bench.
