The action began with our Colts, who faced Broadstreet in a thrilling contest that went right down to the wire. Despite a strong performance, the game just slipped away at the end, finishing 17–19.
This weekend was especially memorable for our U13s – not only did they step out on our stadium pitch for the very first time, but they were also proudly presented with their junior rugby ties. Their clash with local rivals Barker Butts didn’t go the way we’d hoped, but the effort and spirit shown had coaches and parents alike full of pride.
Elsewhere, our U14s travelled to Kenilworth and battled hard in a close contest, eventually falling 24–29.
Our U15s were also on the road against Shipston-on-Stour, with the match ending 19-20 to Shipston.
Meanwhile, our Minis lit up Liberty Way with their training sessions. We’ve been delighted to see so many new starters joining our Rugger Rats already this season – and there’s still plenty of room for more across all age groups! With four weeks free, qualified coaching teams, and fantastic facilities, it’s the perfect time to give rugby a try.
Huge thanks, as always, to our players, coaches, and parents for making weekends like this so special.
Come and join us next Sunday at Liberty Way – we’d love to see you!
