Nuneaton Rugby Club has ushered in a new era of leadership following the successful election of its 2025-26 committee at the Annual General Meeting held on Thursday, 19th June 2025.
The meeting was a celebration of both the club's deep-rooted heritage and its forward-looking spirit. With a strong turnout from members and supporters, the AGM showcased the shared passion that continues to drive Nuns rugby forward.
Returning to the committee are several respected and longstanding members whose unwavering commitment continues to be the backbone of the club’s success. Their experience and historical knowledge will provide steady guidance during what promises to be a season of growth and ambition.
Equally exciting is the arrival of fresh talent to the leadership team. New committee members bring with them a wave of enthusiasm and innovative ideas that reflect the evolving nature of the game and the community it serves.
Club Chair Steve Bird commented, “This new committee captures the best of both worlds - time-honoured dedication and new energy. We’re confident this combination will make a real impact both on and off the pitch. We thank the previous committee for its time, commitment and effort over the previous season.”

With plans already underway for preseason training, junior development initiatives, and community engagement, the 2025–26 season is shaping up to be an exciting journey. As always, the club invites supporters to be part of it—whether on the touchline, in the clubhouse, or behind the scenes.
