With Storm Claudia leaving parts of Liberty Way underwater, we owe a HUGE thank you to the brilliant Syston RFC, who pulled out all the stops to reverse the junior fixtures and host our Minis & Juniors at short notice, the very definition of Game On spirit.
Our junior sides all faced tough opposition, but their determination shone through, bringing home three away wins. A special mention to the Syston U15s who trailed at half-time and came out swinging in the second… still a Nuns victory though .
Great results across the Minis too, with a shout out to the U7s, they’re really getting into the rhythm now and showing brilliant progress.
Next weekend the Minis make the short trip to Market Bosworth, joined there by the U13s.
Meanwhile, fingers crossed Liberty Way dries out enough for the U14s to host Silhillians at home, while the U15s make the trip to face Sils away.
As it stands, we’re still unsure if midweek training can take place on site. Please wait for confirmation from your age-group management teams.
