All players should be in Year 2 at the start of the school year.
Nuneaton Rugby Club welcomes boys and girls to play non-contact tag rugby in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment. New players of all abilities are welcome to join at any point during the season, which runs from September to April.
The Under 7s enjoy a mixture of training sessions and friendly festivals and games against other local clubs. We build on the skills developed in our Rugger Rats (ages 4–6) programme, helping every child develop confidence, teamwork and a love of rugby. New players quickly pick up the basics in a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment.
When is training?
- We train at home most Sundays from 10:00am to 11:00am. Please arrive a few minutes before 10:00am so players are ready to start on time.
- We also encourage all players and their families to stay after training and spend time in the clubhouse. Rugby is about much more than what happens on the pitch, it's about building friendships, supporting one another and becoming part of the wider Nuneaton Rugby Clubfamily.
Do we play matches against other teams?
- Yes. Throughout the season we take part in home and away fixtures against other clubs in the area. We also attend friendly festivals where several clubs come together for fun, non-competitive rugby.
