The Nuns are back in action this weekend as they start a run of 5 games up to the Christmas break and will be looking to stop a run of 3 defeats as they host Bournville at Liberty Way. The ‘Chocolate Men’ are on the same league points as the Nun, 21, but sit one place above them with a slightly better points difference. They both have a record of 4 wins, 5 losses and 5 bonus points to occupy 7th and 8th in the table. Last year both teams won their home games with a 43-23 win for the Nuns and 37-34 for Bournville. Both teams come into the game on losing runs and last time out the Nuns lost up at Sheffield 24-3 and Bournville went down at home to Newport 39-32.
The Saxons have a free weekend. Last week they went down 24-3 to Newport in the league cup.
The Colts take on local rivals Hinckley in a friendly game at home. Last weekend they went down 19-0 to a strong Old Leamingtonians for the second defeat of the season.
The club will also be showing the International rugby on the TVs:
Wales V Tonga – 2:30pm
England V Japan – 3pm
Scotland V South Africa – 5:20pm
Ireland V New Zealand – 7pm

Midlands Premier Round Up
Week 9 - 3 November
Scunthorpe maintained top spot with a win over Sandbach. Newport (Salop) edged out Bournville 39-32 to remain second. Bridgnorth beat close rivals Luctonians. Broadstreet thrashed Lichfield scoring 71 points. Nuns went down at Sheffield and slipped to 8th in Midlands Premier. Burton lost to Doncaster Phoenix and Derby beat winless Syston.
Week 10 - 17 November
Scunthorpe (1) will beat Syston (14) - the only question is, by how many? Match of the day is Newport (Salop) (2) v Bridgnorth (3). I fancy a home win. Another top match sees Luctonians (5) entertain Broadstreet (4). I’ll go with a home win. Sandbach (10) to upset Sheffield (6). Nuns (8) to stop their losing run with a win over Bournville (7). Lichfield (9) to beat their Staffordshire rivals Burton (12). Doncaster Phoenix (13) at home to beat Derby (12).
