No 1st team game but still plenty of Rugby on today at the club. Come on down, support the lads and cheer on England after!!!

With no league action for the 1st team this weekend focus turns to the Saxons who are hosting Newport 2s in the league cup. The week off from league action has come at a good time with a number of players carrying injuries. Tuesday night saw 13 players in for treatment with the medical team as well as others who have more longer-term injuries.

The Saxons will be giving some game time to players that need it and will be looking to pick up a win having been on the wrong side of results recently. The players have trained well this week and will be looking to cut down on errors and maintaining possession for longer periods of time.

The Colts are away to Old Leamingtonians in a tough looking league game. They will be looking to keep up a strong season with just one defeat so far. They have been training hard recently and at Thursday night’s training they were lucky to have Fijian International Ravai Fatiaki come down and give a talk on life as a professional rugby player. Ravai has 11 Caps for Fiji as well as being a professional for both Worcester Warriors and Leicester Tigers.

The club will also be showing the International rugby on the TVs:

Scotland V Fiji – 2:30pm
England V New Zealand – 3pm
Wales V Australia – 5:20pm
Ireland V Argentina – 6:30pm
France V South Africa – 8:05pm
Home-made Pie & Chips for £5 will be on offer.
