Like any organisation Nuneaton RFC rely on lots of volunteers to take care of a number of different areas. One of these is the general up keep of the club. From odd jobs around the club house to grass cutting and line marking, there is always plenty to do. The main bulk of work is carried out on a Tuesday morning by the “Tuesday Crew”. This select group of gentlemen are always on the lookout for younger blood with a current average age well into the 70s!!! Although they meet every Tuesday anyone who can offer their services on a morning once or twice a month would be greatly appreciated.

Without the committed work of volunteers, a lot of things wouldn’t happen around the club and would put a strain on the club finances to get done by professionals, Skilled volunteers are great but a willingness to do something extra for your club is just as important.

General duties include: Grass cutting, Line marking, Bin collections, Litter picking, Clubhouse maintenance, painting and general repair work. Oh, and you must be able to make a good cup of tea too!!!
