Team news for the weekend - Nuns play re-aranged game with Scunthorpe

The Nuns are in catch up action this weekend as they welcome Scunthorpe for a re-arranged league game. When the two sides met back in October the Nuns put together their most complete performance of the season and came away with a 53-25 victory. Scunthorpe come into the game as the leagues form side currently enjoying a 10-game winning run. Last week they defeated Old Hales 97-14. The Nuns put in a huge effort last weekend against Peterborough Lions but couldn't finish the job going down 21-20. A few things went against the side with illness and other circumstances going against them but hopefully a better build up to the game this weekend can see the side get back to winning ways.

Last weekend the Saxons went down to Banbury and having been leading the game, Banbury scored and an interception try late on. However, in the dying moments the side fought back and a converted try sore them take the win 24-21 which moved them to equal 3rd in the table. They have no game this weekend.

Team news: Ben Holmes is away and so Ryan Leake steps up from the bench at loose head prop. Matt Gibbs is struggling with a back injury and so Tom Aherne also steps up from the bench and Adie Hall starts again at number 8 with Apo Satala nursing an ankle injury.

Two changes in the back line see Elliott Brown return from illness and Richard Johnston swaps with Ryan Southall.

The bench is made up off Dan Oselton, Arron Skyrme and Adam Stauvers.
