The Nuns will start the 2017-18 season in the newly named Midlands Premier Division with a first ever trip to Doncaster Phoenix on September 2nd. This is then followed up with a home fixture to Lichfield. The season closes on April 21st with the home visit of Doncaster Phoenix.

There are 5 new sides in the league this year. Scunthorpe re-join having had a season at National 2 North and promoted sides are Newbold (Midlands 1 East winners), Newport (Midlands 1 West winners) and Bournville (Midlands 1 play-off winners). Doncaster Phoenix have level transferred from the Northern league into the division. Towcestrians have been level transferred to the South/East division after one season with us.

With a new ground share agreement in place with the Football Club some of these fixtures may change to accommodate more games on the Stadium pitch so please keep an eye out for any changes.

Pre-season will start for all Senior players on Tuesday, July 4th. It will then continue every Tuesday and Thursday night. Players of all abilities are welcome as the club will be running 3 Senior sides in the leagues this year and so there will be ‘Rugby for All’ at the club this season.

Pre-season friendlies have been arranged throughout August and there will be plenty of opportunity to see the teams in action with home games throughout:

Coventry Development – Tuesday August 8th (date subject to confirmation) Stadium Pitch

Malvern & Burton – Saturday August 19th, 1pm and 3pm kick offs Number 1 Pitch

Old Northamptonians – Thursday August 24th, 7.15pm kick off Number 1 Pitch

Saturday August 26th – Warwickshire Cup Draw to be made
