Coach / Manager Responsibilities

Introduction:

Nuneaton RFC Mini, Junior and Junior Colts Section is run entirely by volunteers. Mainly, but not exclusively, by parents, carers or guardians who wish to see their children enjoy, grow through and benefit from the sport of Rugby. Some children may be skilled and talented enough to one day reach the very highest levels of the game (have a look in the clubhouse, Nuns players have gone on to win National honours), while others simply love playing the game on a weekend and the inevitable socialising afterwards.

Our Volunteers work hard and selflessly to provide an environment that is fun, safe, informative, encouraging and capable of developing a child’s skills to enjoy the game to the full. To do this we encourage parents to get involved and help us, we also think it important that parents know what Coaching and Managerial staff are expected to do. So we have defined the following “Task Descriptions” to explain what a Team Coach, Assistant Coach or Manager does.
